Your personal attacks and mischaracterizations are inappropriate and unseemly, and I will not be responding any further.
This is the typicall answer for when there is no arguments. There is no personal attack here, I am just pointing that this proposal economically makes no sense. I believe my point here is already explained, no need to drag the discussion more.
Indeed, I will vote to support delegate compensation while not including myself into that core compensated group. It is absolutely needed imo from the understanding that a strong core will in theory produce a resoundingly smoother process, increasing vetting horsepower, and ensure quorum. As I champion long term treasury self sustainment, this act recuses me from obtaining any compensation until self sustainment is achieved and if* I would then be ever voted into a position to receive.
Discussion can be handled in different manners. A person can walk into a room and begin screaming at someone. On the other hand a person can walk into a room a speak to a person without shouting. The same message but received differently. Iโm sure you can grasp what Iโm getting at.
@JoaoCampos89 I view you as an asset and it is a shame to have your input and logic discounted simply because you would choose not to engage in a more professional and classy manner. I hope that you can set aside pains, frustrations, and resentment that has grown, and realize that you are stronger and can set aside such emotions to engage in a more logical manner with less emotional emphasis. I believe that you can.
The community is very lucky to have such astute community members like yourselves @nikita and @JoaoCampos89 . Often among highly competitive individuals emotions can ferment which can cause some resentments. It is important to understand that we are stronger as a whole. We all have our strengths and differences. Therefore we need to put in work to preserve and protect the whole. To work through our differences. It will require effort, it is work to push against the flood of emotions that one can feel. Donโt fall into the stream of emotions to be whisked away. Fight the current. Grow to understand each other and your differences. Put in the work to keep the team together and strong. Donโt let the negative win.
From the inception of the ZRX Paths program, it was explicitly designed to fund developmental initiatives. The program successfully initiated the first developmental phases of two features, each pursuing similar objectives through distinct approaches.
Currently, we are encountering obstacles due to limited governance engagement, which hampers our ability to fund subsequent phases for these projects. Despite expedited processes, integrating new features remains challenging, placing us at a disadvantage in terms of technological advancements compared to our competitors. This has unfortunately led to diminished innovation within the 0x ecosystem.
It is particularly disheartening that even within our relatively small community, consensus on what benefits the protocol is elusive. We are frequently mired in unproductive controversies, with participants pursuing divergent agendas, a situation that proves detrimental to all involved. This discord prevents us from making meaningful progress for the protocol.
While I understand the frustrations and critiques that have arisen, I urge everyone to adopt a more constructive and serene approach to feedback. This shift from destructive criticism to supportive dialogue is essential for our collective success.
